What is Ultherapy®?

Ultherapy® treatment is an FDA-approved, non-invasive procedure that can lift the neck, chin, and brows. It can also help improve lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. Ultherapy® helps uplift these areas of the face using ultrasonic facelift technology. Like the fat pocket under the chin, many of the muscles in your face can not be targeted with traditional workout techniques. They are also areas prone to holding on to fat, even with weight loss and dieting.

With Ultherapy®, we are able to target these muscles specifically. The technology used is similar to the ultrasound imaging used in pregnancy. The ultrasound facelift uses sound waves to penetrate and target the muscles in the area being treated. Using a variety of sound waves, Ultherapy® causes the muscles to contract and shrink. This procedure results in a firming and contouring effect that also helps to smooth out wrinkles.

Is Ultherapy® treatment safe?

Ultherapy® is incredibly safe and completely non-invasive. It has been approved since 2009 as a non-invasive uplift option. The FDA-approved technology is the same basic design as the ultrasound systems used for decades to monitor pregnancies.
